Luckily I don't have to stand alone - but man it is torture waiting for all the detail of our move to Hawaii to pan out. It is both a blessing and tough to know a bigger layer of details.
As of right now - we are penciled in for the OT position in Maui. I have been very clear that if anything opens up on the Big Island, that we want it. The OT that replaced my position 2 1/2 years ago resigned in Kona a few weeks ago. There might be an Oahu DOE OT that wants the job which would dash our hopes. If she ends up not working out, oh just how long will it take them to offer it to my company as a contract? School starts in less than 5 weeks and we leave for the islands in 22 days. Will everything pan out for us to get to be back in Kona?! We'd be happy either way, but if Kona opens up we really would like to hold out and wait for it. Sigh..... things I want to do and can't are schedule shipping our car and getting temp housing where we will be to give us time to find a place we like.
Will keep trying not to get too antsy or anxious and just wait for an answer one way or the other!
** YEAH! We found out on July 1st that we get to move to KONA!!!!
